take it in the ear
From our next Mayor, Chicken John
On the corner of 25th street and Alabama, in San Francisco's Mission district is a building. It's actually an idea. An idea whose time may just have come. It may actually be early. This idea of a building is called: the Sunset House.

If you haven't seen the SF Guardian today, or if you don't live in SF, you may wish to click on the image that graced page 19. A full page ad costs $1500. It looks better in color.
I think Newsom would be wise to take Chicken up on this offer. It will just lead to a more jovial election cycle. And lord knows, SF needs more jovial election cycles.

Today, over on Cat 3(cubed), Colin Fahrion began a Chicken John vs. Gavin Newsom blog. He lines them up to show who's the better politician for the 21st century. I'd give away the ending, but I wouldn't want to ruin all your fun. He promises to keep it up through the campaign.
I believe the prize goes to Chicken, but I'll leave it to you to see the results.
Take a look at Chicken's site, and watch the video, where matthew J. Harman portrays Chicken, showing you how exactly to get Chicken on the ballot.
If you haven't heard thee news, San Francisco's own Chicken John is running for mayor of our fine city. His goal is to inject more whimsy into our tired little burg. Take a look at today's SF Chronicle for the front page story. Or you can take a look on line right now, right here.
I'm helping with the campaign, so see this page for regular updates on the run, events, etc.
